Visitor Information
It is Command policy that all visitors to the Electronic Proving Ground report to the Visitor Control Center (Building 56303) located at the entrance to Banister Hall (Building 56301) for visit validation, badge pickup and registration prior to visiting any of our administrative facilities, test facilities or range areas.
Fort Huachuca entrance gate hours of operation:
- Van Deman Gate: 0530 - 1930 (Monday through Friday), 0800 - 2000 (Saturday & Sunday); Closed on federal holidays
- Buffalo Soldier Gate: 24/7

Visit Requests, Security Clearance and Special Access
- Visit requests are MANDATORY for everyone.
- Visit requests may be sent via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or or emailed (signed business letterhead memo) to usarmy.huachuca.atec.list.epg-visitorcontrol@army.mil

The following information is required in a business letterhead memo::
- Full Name, military rank, US government civilian grade and/or position title
- SSN (last 4)
- Citizenship
- Investigation type and date completed
- Clearance, date granted and granting authority
- Date and place of birth
- Inclusive dates of visit; if recurring, we recommend you PERMCERT for 1 year
- Name and telephone number of EPG POC (employee to be visited); please do not list the EPG Security Office as the POC
- Purpose of Visit. Be specific; name the test, conference, meeting, etc.
- Your request must indicate signatory verification by a security officer who oversees your security clearance status
- Note 1: Contractors visiting EPG must submit the Visit Authorization Letter through their responsible Facility Security Officer (FSO) IAW DOD 5220.22-M, chapter 6-103
- Note 2: If an investigation is past the expiration date, please include the date of periodic reinvestigation submission
- Note 3: Do not provide any special accesses held within the Special Security Office (SSO) system (see below)
- Allow a minimum of one hour after sending a visit request email, then call the EPG Visitor Center at 520-538-2424 to confirm receipt.
- DISS-transmitted collateral clearance visit requests should be sent to SMO code: W04YAA.

Visits requiring special access are verified through the DISS. If your information is as yet not held in the DISS, it may be sent through
the SSO communications system to SSO EPG (DISS SMO code: W04YAA). Please certify for one year
(PERMCERT).
- Note 4: In addition to sending clearance or access requests through the SSO system, a collateral visit request must also be sent to the EPG Security Office, W04YAA
Foreign Visit Requests
- All requests for official Government-to-Government visits by foreign personnel are conducted through established Embassy protocols.
- Foreign commercial contacts: Please refer questions and coordination through the USAEPG Foreign Disclosure Officer, 520-538-3534 DSN 879.

Directions
Tucson International Airport to Sierra Vista
From the Airport exit, follow Country Club Dr to Valencia Rd. Turn right on Valencia
Rd. Continue on Valencia to the I-10 East entrance (toward El Paso). Drive approximately
40 miles on I-10 to exit 302. Turn south on Hwy 90. Drive approximately 30 miles
to Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista.
Fort Huachuca Van Deman Gate to EPG
From the guard checkpoint, drive approximately 0.3 miles to the first traffic light
(Hunt Ave). Turn right on Hunt Ave. Drive to the intersection of Hunt Ave and Arizona
Street. Both EPG HQ (Banister Hall, Bldg 56301) and the EMETF (Bldg 55350) are located
at this intersection.
Fort Huachuca Buffalo Soldier Gate to EPG
From the guard checkpoint, continue on Squire Rd. Turn right onto Irwin Ave. Turn
right onto Hatfield St. Turn left onto Hunt Ave (traffic light). Drive to the intersection
of Hunt Ave and Arizona Street. Both EPG HQ (Banister Hall, Bldg 56301) and the
EMETF (Bldg 55350) are located at this intersection.
