Mission Statement

Provide the Warfighter realistic and comprehensive mission support and training opportunities through the use of Yuma Proving Ground ranges, facilities, and test centers. Provide support to test officers in the planning and execution of test operations involving troops (operational tests, limited user tests, experiments, assessments, etc.)

The Training Exercise Management Office (TEMO) is Yuma Test Center’s and Yuma Proving Ground’s single point of contact for all units and organizations desiring to train on the Installation. A Training Exercise Manager is assigned to each activity to assist with all mission support requirements while on YPG. The Training Exercise Manager coordinates all facilities and ranges in addition to most of the logistical support required to execute the training event. Additionally, TEMO provides mission support to Operational Tests (OT), Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) as well as other governmental agencies like the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, law enforcement agencies and other special events. The unique combination of capabilities to support land and air activities, as well as the close proximity to the Colorado River, makes YPG a premier location to conduct individual, collective, combined and joint training.
