What We Do

AMDTD conducts daily coordination, on behalf of ATEC, with the AWA/NIE (Brigade Modernization Command (BMC), System of System Engineering and Integration Directorate (SOSE&I), and ATEC and in concert with DA G3/5/7 to rapidly plan, coordinate, and execute operational  testing in a network-centric environment.  AMDTD executes other testing as required.  Throughout these activities, ATEC and OTC maintain their congressional mandated position of independent test and evaluation leadership to provide senior Army and DoD leadership operational test assessments to enable leaders to make acquisition and fielding decisions.
