Visitor Credential Requirements

The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center is located within a controlled security area. A visitor credential must be worn above the waist while inside the controlled area. To expedite issuance of a visitor credential when you arrive, please submit a visit request at least 24 hours before arrival. The visit request should be submitted through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Portal. ATC's Security Management Office (SMO) code is W4QUAA. Please include your ATC point of contact on the request. If your organization does not have access to DISS Portal, please submit the visit request on your unit and/or company letterhead. A visitor cannot verify their own security clearance or approve their own visit request. The visit request must be signed by visitor's Security Officer or an authorized approving official. The signature block on the visit request must include printed name, title and signature.

We recommend that the visit request be sent to the ATC Visit Center at usarmy.apg.atec.mbx.apgr-atc-visitorcontrol@army.mil or facsimile (FAX) the request to (410) 278-9560. Call (410) 278-3987 or (410) 278-8982 for confirmation that the FAX was received. This expedites processing and minimizes delays. Hand-carrying visit requests are prohibited.
