Executive Director

Dr. Edward Repetski

Edward Repetski is the Executive Director (acting), U.S. Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC) at Fort Hood, Texas, a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command. He hails from Sanborn, New York. A 1990 Graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, he commissioned as a Second Lieutenant with an assignment to the Corps of Engineers. Dr. Repetski’s previous assignments include Platoon Leader, 23rd Engineers, 3rd Armored Division (Germany and Operation Desert Storm); then as, Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer, 40th Engineers, 1st Armored Division (Germany).

Following the Armored Officers’ Advanced Course, he was assigned as the Battalion Maintenance Officer, then Company Commander, 17th Engineers, 2nd Armored Division; and followed as Company Commander, 299th Engineers, 4th Infantry Division during the Force XXI experiment. He served in a resident training detachment with the 27th Infantry Brigade, New York Army National Guard, then as an opposing force plans officer with the Mission Command Training Program, Fort Leavenworth.

Following Command and General Staff college he deployed as the Assistant Division Engineer, 4th Infantry Division (Tikrit, Iraq) and upon redeployment was the Battalion S3 and XO, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Division. He was also the plans officer for 1st Brigade, 4ID at Fort Hood and in Taji, Iraq; and served as the Rear Detachment Commander, 36th Engineer Brigade, before Commanding the 2nd Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood and in Kirkuk, Iraq.

Following retirement, he served in industry for 12 years as the deputy program manager, then program manager for the III Corps Mission Training Complex contract workforce. He is currently the Director of the Test Technology Directorate, and serving as the acting Executive Director, USAOTC.

Dr. Repetski has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Systems Engineering from George Washington University, Master in Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Central Texas, Master of Military Arts and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
