Brigadier General (BG) Shannon-Mikal Lucas hails from Akron, Ohio. A 1995 Distinguished Military Graduate from the Virginia Military Institute, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as Second Lieutenant with assignment to the Military Police Corps.
