Sgt. Major Graham P. Rooney
Raised in East Hampton, New York, he graduated High School in 1996 and enlisted into the Regular Army on 1 November 2001. He attended OSUT at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Military Occupational Specialty (19D) Cavalry Scout. He later re-classed to 14G (Air Defense Battle Management System Operator) and attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Sergeant Major Rooney has served in leadership positions from Bradly Fighting Vehicle Gunner, Early Warning Systems Section Chief, Early Warning Section Platoon Sergeant, Special Forces Recruiter, Training and Exercise NCOIC, First Sergeant and most recently as Operations Sergeant Major. He also holds a Bachelors and Masters in Disaster and Emergency Management.
Sergeant Major Sergeant Rooney is a member of the Prestigious Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.
