Henry Garza, Bell County’s district attorney, gives a speech about his home life, career and accomplishments at the Hispanic Heritage Month Observance Oct. 13 at the U.S. Army Operational Test Command. Garza previously worked as an assistant district attorney for 14 years until he became Bell County’s district attorney in 2001. Candateshia Pafford, III Corps and Fort Hood Public Affairs

Soldiers, Family members and civilians enjoy Hispanic dishes after attending the Hispanic Heritage Month Observance Oct. 13 at the USAOTC. The various dishes included Cuban sandwiches, tortilla chips and salsa, Mexican sweet bread, tamales, flautas, horchata (Mexican rice drink) and more. The food was provided by local Hispanic restaurants in the surrounding communities and the Killeen Nutritional Center. Candateshia Pafford, III Corps and Fort Hood Public Affairs
