ATEC Mission Support Contracting Activity (AMSCA) |
Mission |
| To provide contracting support by planning, directing, and supervising the acquisition of supplies and services to support ATEC in their T&E mission. |
- Serves as the principal procurement advisor and staff officer for the Commander, and as liaison between ATEC and the Head of Contracting Activity (HCA)/Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC).
- Supervises the development of operating policies.
- Performs activities associated with personnel administration and develops and oversees training programs.
- Monitors and improves the performance of the organization.
- Reviews and approves contractual actions in compliance with statutes and regulations.
- Plans, programs, and executes the budget for AMSCA.
- Ensures that responses to audit reports are handled in accordance with established policies and regulations.
- Interacts with the Army Contracting Agency (ACA), which provides installation and mission contracting support.
