The Aberdeen Test Center

Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), on Aberdeen Proving Ground next to Maryland's Chesapeake Bay and 60 miles northeast of Washington, D.C., is the Defense Department's lead agency for land-combat, direct-fire, and live-fire vulnerability testing. ATC is a multipurpose test center with diverse capabilities. In 85 years, it has become a world-class testing, training, modeling, simulation, and experimentation facility that gives American warfighters superior materiel and technology.
