CSM Allen G. Fritzsching was born in Houston, Texas and joined the United States Army in 1985.  He received Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.  He has a Bachelors Degree in Science from Excelsior University (summa cum laude) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from TUI University (summa cum laude).

CSM Fritzsching's assignments include serving as a Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, Bravo Company, 5th Transportation Battalion, Maintenance Supervisor/Squad Leader, Bravo Company 8-101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division Air Assault, Senior Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic/Platoon Sergeant, Hotel Company 159th Aviation Regiment, Senior Drill Sergeant, Bravo Company 1-81st Armor Regiment, Battalion Motor Sergeant/Platoon Sergeant, 29th Engineer Battalion, First Sergeant, HHC, 112th Special Operations Signal Battalion (Airborne), Command Sergeant Major, 189th Corps Support Battalion (Airborne), Command Sergeant Major, 18th Airborne Corps Distribution Command, Command Sergeant Major, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Command Sergeant Major, US Army Developmental Test Command and is currently the Command Sergeant Major, US Army Test and Evaluation Command.

CSM Fritzsching's military education includes the Air Assault School, Airborne School, Primary Leadership Development Course (Commandant's Award), Master Fitness School, Combat Lifesaver's Course, Light Infantry Leader's Course, Strategic Deployment School, Battalion Motor Officer's Course, Instructor Training Course, Jumpmaster School, Drill Sergeant School (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Basic Noncommissioned Officer's Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Advanced Noncommissioned Officer's Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Modern Army Combative Course Level I, First Sergeant's Course, United States Army Sergeant's Major Academy Class 53, Command Sergeants Major Course, CSM Force Management Course and the AMSC Garrison CSM Course.

CSM Fritzsching's awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (1st OLC), Bronze Star Medal (2nd OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (3RD OLC), Army Commendation Medal (5th OLC), Army Achievement Medal (7th OLC), Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Southwest Asian Service Medal (3 BSS), Iraq Campaign Medal (3 BSS), Global War on Terror Service Medal, Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 4, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral 4, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Government of Kuwait), Combat Action Badge, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Mechanic/Driver Badge, Canadian Parachutist Badge and the Meritorious Unit Citation (1st OLC).

CSM Fritzsching's significant accomplishments include being selected as the 1989 101ST Airborne Division Air Assault Noncommissioned Officer of the Year and the 1993 1-81 Armor Regiment Drill Sergeant of the Year. CSM Fritzsching was the first member of the 101ST Airborne Division Air Assault to be inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and is a recipient of the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe and Colonel Decius Wadsworth Award of Scholarship.

CSM Fritzsching's combat tours include Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and three combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I, IV & IX.
